Have completed stage 6 of our bike tour and have arrived in Bacharach, a beautiful old town on the banks of the Rhine. We are surrounded by vineyards on the steep banks.
It rained a bit towards the end but that didn’t spoil things. The Rhine widened considerably during this stage but narrowed again before entering the gorge. Bacharach and our hotel is stunning!!
