Day 2 accomplished 👍🏻
Today our route took us mostly along the Rhein with strong headwinds but occasionally we got some rest bite cycling through woods. The scenery (main river plus lots of overspill ponds) reminded me of Florida. We were expecting alligators at any moment!! The temperature soared to 28 degrees so we were glad if the wind. My head changed a few shades of red however!
Before dinner we went for stroll across the foot bridge to Strasbourg. We wondered why all the French were travelling east over the bridge to Kehl but then found the answer on the side 🤣 There was absolutely nothing!! 🤣

Btw, our place tonight (Hafen17 Hotel) is very cool (very fancy and bohemian). I can’t speak for Steffi but I think I’m too old!😂
