David: Day 4: We enjoyed much countryside today and little Rhine as we cut the corners ending up in Ludwigshafen. Today’s stint was shorter but I appreciated that as my bum is really hurting!! I now have some empathy for chimpanzees!!☺️😂 🤣. Also it bought me some time to give the bikes a wash. Nice day overall 😊
Ahhh nearly forgot!!! We were entering Speyer and both noticed at the same time a Lufthansa jumbo flying very very low. No need to worry though. This particular plane (D-ABYM which was first delivered to Lufthansa in 1978) had found a new home in Speyer Technik Museum.
And finally…..
We saw our first stork nest on top of a chimney. Priceless!!
